KoDaRe

The project KoDaRe aims at establishing a continuous data representation within the production process of optics with freeform surfaces, ensuring a consistent data exchange between CAD/CAM, design, simulation, metrology, production and assembly.

KoDaRe

The work piece and related data are continuously referenced along the process chain in the range of nm precision.

To implement these goals, the hardware of the work piece has to be referenced; subsequently standardized interfaces ensure a lossless data consistency within the virtual process chain and with related process steps.

The project will use and bring forward a methodology to measure arbitrary free formed surfaces.

Coordinated by Fraunhofer IPT, the project partners Aixtooling, Moduleworks, Ingeneric and Hirschmann started KoDaRe in June 2010.
