“SimuGlass” develops a synergistic computational tool for material modelling, process simulation and the optimization of optical glass moulding.
Sample Project “SimuGlass – EU Cooperation Project for Process Simulation”
 | Eight partners from five countries will analyze the molding processes applied in the industry. Subsequently, a model that demonstrates key material properties and the molding process will be constructed. A user entry mask will be designed to facilitate the use and control of the simulation tool. |
 | The SME partners are generating an integrated simulation model for the complete molding. Both the geometrical construction and the implementation of the boundary conditions are automated in the simulation tool. The simulation will also comprise data about the quantitative shrinkage and will be able to predict processes. |
